Meghalaya truly lived up to its name as the "Abode of the Clouds"! My recent trip was an unforgettable immersion into nature's wonders and the warm hospitality of its people. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the lush green landscapes and the ever-present mist that lent an ethereal quality to everything. Exploring the Mosmai Caves and Arwah Caves was like stepping into a prehistoric world. The intricate formations of stalactites and stalagmites, sculpted over millennia, were simply breathtaking. It's amazing to witness the artistry of nature hidden beneath the surface. Mawlynnong village, rightfully acclaimed as one of the cleanest in Asia, was an absolute delight. The charming homes, the meticulously maintained gardens, and the sense of community were truly inspiring. Walking along the living root bridge here was a unique experience, a testament to the harmonious relationship between humans and nature. The waterfalls in Meghalaya are simply spectacular. Phe Phe Falls, with its cascading tiers, offered a stunning visual treat. However, Krang Shuri Falls stole my heart with its vibrant turquoise waters and the sheer power of its descent. cool breeze embrace was incredibly refreshing. Of course, no trip to Meghalaya is complete without experiencing the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge. The trek down was exhilarating, and witnessing this marvel of bio-engineering firsthand was awe-inspiring. It's a true testament to the ingenuity and resilience of the local Khasi tribes. Visit to blue lagoon was a tip of ice burg. Finally, boating on the crystal-clear (Muddy because of pre monsoon)waters of the Dawki River was an absolute highlight. The sight of the Bangladesh plains in the distance created a picturesque scene that will forever be etched in my memory. Kudo's to Indian government for fencing the bordera to prevent infiltration. Throughout my journey, the warmth and friendliness of the local people added a special touch to the experience. The food was delicious, and the culture was vibrant and welcoming. Meghalaya is a destination that nourishes the soul and leaves you feeling rejuvenated and connected to nature. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking natural beauty, unique experiences, and genuine hospitality. Amazing planning by Edmond and team. You guys are awesome. Last but not least beware of Shillong traffic. We missed our flight ?? ?? ??. Kudo's to calm and composed Dawan for being with us as part of this meghalaya experience. This trip was truly a 5-star experience!

We booked Meghalaya trip through Edmund and Shillong tour company. Everything was arranged properly and nicely. He also customised the itinerary according to our preferences. All the accommodations were clean and tidy. The food was delicious and healthy. The guides and driver provided by him were also good and knowledgeable. He also included some nice places which we had not mentioned (like river cruise in Brahmaputra). He was available and reachable at all times on phone call as well as on WhatsApp and responded quickly to all our queries. Overall the whole trip was amazing and well managed. The Shillong tours Edmond did a great job in arranging the tour package to meghalaya for us. The accommodations that he booked were really good and was also customized according to our needs. The trek to living root bridge was an unforgettable experience in the lifetime and the arrangements for food and accomodation near the living root bridge was a great idea. We could trek down, take some rest and then walk back up. Overall it was awesome except for the rain due to which there were delays in travel and few places were missed.
